Storm Gloor
I am an associate professor and the program director of the Music Business program at the University of Colorado Denver. There I developed and have instructed the Music in the Digital Age course, which is focused on the future of music. Additionally, I teach our Music Marketing classes and the Music Cities course. I also oversee and mentor all of the students in our internship program each semester. During 2021 I created and implemented a program to provide music business education and mentorship for 75 local musicians. I was the recipient of the university’s 2018 Excellence In Teaching award and am the immediate past president of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association. I currently serve on the Denver Music Advisory Board and am a co-founder of the Amplify Music Conference, through which we produced 2020 and 2021 virtual convenings of local music community leaders from over 20 countries to address how the pandemic will affect the future of cities’ music ecosystems.
