Nancy Matsumotois a Toronto and New York-based writer and editor who covers food, agriculture,and the environment for publications including NPR, Civil Eats and theAtlantic.com.A certified Advanced Sake Professional and Sake Scholar, Nancy travels to Japanto report on sake, food, and agriculture. She has written about the influenceof French winemaking on sake brewers for Air Canada’s enRoute magazine,and on sake-making innovators who are keeping traditional methods alive for Gestalten’s forthcoming book, New Traditions. She has reported onwomen master brewers, U.S. sake brewers, and the rise of sake culture in NewYork City.
