Anand Gopalan

Anand Gopalan is Velodyne Lidar's Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for the advanced product and technology development that powers Velodyne's next generation LiDAR products. As a seasoned technology executive with experience building and leading world-wide engineering organizations, he has grown organizations through deep and dynamic business model transitions and successfully delivered on a wide array of high-speed mixed signal, optical and RF products. Anand holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Mumbai University, and he holds an MS degree (Electrical Engineering) and PhD (Microsystems) from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
