XR researcher and VO artist Simone Kliass is the creator and curator of Pixel Voice, a track of the Pixel Show International Creativity Conference focused on voice applications for advertising, dubbing, animation, gaming, and emerging tech. As a founding member of the Brazilian Cross-Reality Association (XRBR), Simone has developed new approaches to storytelling in immersive formats and her lectures on the evolution of voice as an interface have reached audiences at SXSW and VO Atlanta in the USA – as well as at the Globo TV Media Tech Lab and the Rio2C, Path, HackTown, and Pixel Show innovation festivals in her home country of Brazil. She presents Brazil's leading virtual reality event (Hyper VR Festival), works as a voice coach and consultant for Edge Studio in New York, and has given workshops at venues such as the VoiceOver Network in Europe. Simone is currently the voice of Globo's GNT channel, the São Paulo International Airport, LATAM Airlines, SKY Pay TV, and of dozens of TV and radio commercials in Brazil. Her recent work in the field of immersive content includes the Portuguese-language narration of Ricardo Laganaro's "The Line", elected Best VR Interactive Experience at the 2019 Venice Film Festival.
