Steven Ambers

Mr. Ambers has over 30 years of experience in the entertainment royalty field. He has participated in royalty audits worldwide. His experience also extends to the due diligence reviews of potential record company and music catalog acquisitions. He has also consulted with both talent and corporations regarding developing and expanding current entertainment businesses and the ramification of specific royalty provisions being considered in agreements being negotiated. Currently, he is the VP of Cor. Dev at SOCAN where he fosters US publisher and key influencer relations.

In 1999, he co-founded RoyaltyConsultants.com, a royalty tracking solution for monies due from downloaded IP and the Royalty Review Council where he was credited with being one of the first to attempt to collect data about online sales of items ranging from music to videos.

He received his BS degree from USC in 1987. He has lectured at many universities, participated in panels and has testified in judicial proceedings.
