John Jigitz currently serves as content manager of °1824, UMG’s in-house creative dept and youth marketing division. In addition to handling the day-to-day of the 25-member content team and producing over 40 pieces of content a month, John co-directed and produced the official music video for PUBLIC “Make You Mine” (Island). By including TikTok creators in the video with a collective following of 15M+ it garnered over 1 million views within its first week. John started at Universal Music Group in 2015 while enrolled at Portland State University. While in college, he directed and shot a personality piece for Republic Records that opened the door for the creation of a larger content team at the center of UMG. John moved to LA in 2018 and worked for the Executive Vice President, Global Creative Dave Rocco. While working for Rocco, John helped produce Freddie Mercury’s “Love Me Like There’s No Tomorrow” official music video supporting the Mercury Phoenix Trust fighting AIDS worldwide.
