Kaneisha Grayson is a 35-year-old Austin native who grew up in the low-income neighborhood of Dove Springs in Southeast Austin. She is a graduate of Pomona College, a Harvard Business School MBA, and a Harvard Kennedy School MPA. She founded her educational consulting company The Art of Applying in 2010 from her Harvard apartment. She bootstrapped her company to a highly profitable global million-dollar business. Kaneisha's company The Art of Applying has worked with 1000+ applicants to top graduate schools and helped them earn over $12.3 million in merit-based scholarships since 2010.
