Shawn Springs

Springs is the Founder and CEO of Windpact, a Technology and Applied Science company using refined machine learning principles, FEA modeling, and its patented Crash Cloud™ system to deliver superior impact solutions to protect the brain and body in Sports, Military and Automotive industries.

Led by Springs, Windpact is the recipient of three NFL awards, receiving grants to continue to improve the performance of the football helmet and beyond. In 2017, Windpact won the NFL's 1st & Future Award after presenting to a panel of judges in a Shark Tank-style competition. In 2018, Windpact was the recipient of the NFL's HeadHealthTech II Award. In 2019, Windpact received an additional grant by winning the NFL HeadHealthTECH VI Award to continue its research and development efforts.

Springs was known throughout his NFL career for his community service.

He was selected by Washingtonian Magazine as a Washingtonian of the Year based his commitment to community service in Washington D.C.
