I'm a screenwriter and and a filmmaker by trade. I created the award-winning Film Prize to help filmmakers activate and create. Film Prize requires filmmakers to create a short film (5-15 minutes), we choose 20 finalists and we host a film fest to choose our winner. The winner of Film Prize wins $50,000 (the world's largest cash prize for a narrative short). During the production phase and during the festival, we offer free education and connections to mentors. Our goal is to help filmmakers go from shorts to features. We are currently looking to help filmmakers develop features from Film Prize shorts. My expertise is in development, funding and production.
