Brendan Gilmartin
Brendan Gilmartin has spent the last 25 years delivering thoughtful, effective publicity campaigns for musicians, films, books as well as concert events and tours. Beginning as director of publicity for indie label spinART Records from 1997-2006, he went on to the World’s Fair Label Group 2006-2007, and Shore Fire Media 2007-2012. He founded Chart Room Media in 2012. In that time he has been a publicist on campaigns for Billy Bragg, Kiefer Sutherland, Apple Corps (for the launch of the re-mastered Beatles catalog), Van Morrison, Neko Case, Ry Cooder, Dr. John, Nick Lowe, Midlake, The Apples in Stereo, Jarvis Cocker, Trombone Shorty and more. He has worked closely with publicity and marketing departments at labels such as Columbia, Anti-, Yep Roc, Blue Note, Concord, Cooking Vinyl, Verve, Atlantic, EMI and more.
