Lori Kozak
Lori Kozak is a partner at the national law firm of Fox Rothschild and has 20 years of experience providing legal counsel regarding U.S. and international trademark clearance, registration, licensing, and enforcement to artists, creators and businesses in music, technology, film, TV, media and publishing. Her clients include numerous bands and musicians, cutting-edge technology companies, as well as actors, authors, photographers, and festival organizations. She particularly enjoys helping talent create, protect and enforce their brands.
Lori is an adjunct professor at University of Southern California (USC) Law School, co-teaching the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Clinic and providing trademark support to the Small Business Clinic. She also serves as secretary of the board of directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Los Angeles, a nonprofit that seeks to reduce and reverse the effects of child abuse and neglect.
Lori began her career as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, where she examined and ruled on trademark applications for registration and represented the USPTO in appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
