Kerry Amato

Kerry Amato, CAE, is the Executive Director of Health Innovation for HIMSS where she leads strategy efforts around leveraging HIMSS assets to catalyze and amplify the development and adoption of impactful technologies globally to improve health. In addition, she oversees the HIMSS innovation brands Health 2.0 and the Personal Connected Health Alliance that include a robust portfolio of events, products and services aimed at different stages of the innovation lifecycle.

Kerry is a graduate of the University of Iowa, received her CAE in 2014 and in 2016 was named one of Connect Association Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” award winners. She is a seasoned non-profit management professional with extensive experience in relationship management, event development, data analytics and industry relations. Most recently she received Association Forum’s 40 Under 40 Award in 2018 for her work to expand HIMSS’ product offerings for the venture and startup audiences. She currently resides in Chicago, IL with her husband, two children and their “handful” of a dog.
