Breven Warren

Breven Angaelica Warren passionately believes in the power of independent filmmakers, storytellers and artists. Her published doctoral research on the value of independent filmmakers, proposes alternative metrics from a financial engineering perspective that are intended to address equitable access for creators while incentivizing investors with the potential for limited liability, reduced risk and increased ROI on indie creators’ original IP projects. She is currently working on her second doctoral program that is exploring success strategies of independent filmmakers. With years of experience at prestigious nonprofit organizations including Sundance Institute, Film Independent, AFI FEST and Outfest, as well as working for start-up studios, she's built and designed artist support programs and strategies. Breven also founded a mentorship festival that has been celebrating creators since 2008.
