Kane Lee
Kane Lee heads content at Baobab Studios and multi-Emmy Award-winning executive producer and producer of the studio’s groundbreaking works, from Baba Yaga (starring Kate Winslet, Daisy Ridley, Jennifer Hudson, Glenn Close) and Crow: The Legend (starring John Legend, Oprah Winfrey), to Jack (starring Lupita Nyong’o) and most recently Namoo. Lee has always led at the intersection of technology and media, masterminding the 1st-ever adaptation of VR IP into a theatrical feature film, with Roth Kirschenbaum Films (“Maleficent”, “Alice in Wonderland”) partnered with Baobab to bring Invasion! to the silver screen. Lee is a producer on tentpole projects ranging from The Tiger’s Apprentice at Paramount, Oni at Netflix and 5 Worlds with Nickelodeon, to The School for Good and Evil at Netflix, Frozen writer/director Jennifer Lee’s The Way Between, and the Emmy Award-winning Spooksville. Previously Lee was Vice President at Jane Startz Productions, with credits including 20th Century Fox’s Horton Hears A Who!, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and Robots. He is an advisor in interactive media for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
