Dan Armstrong joined Ticketmaster/Live Nation in 2015, and serves as SVP and GM of Distributed Commerce, with a mission to connect fans with off-platform ticketing in a wide variety of verticals and industries, including Ticketmaster’s efforts in voice-commerce. He oversees partnerships and product, working to make it easier for fans to buy tickets, no matter where they are. Prior to Ticketmaster, Dan spent 8 years at Connexity/Shopzilla, leading a number of strategic initiatives from syndication to product development. He also led product development and P&L for Shopzilla’s Beso.com website and mobile apps. Before entering the technology space, Dan spent years in the film industry as both a creative consultant and screenwriter.
Dan received B.A.’s in both Film and English from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Originally from Milwaukee, he has long called Los Angeles home with his wife and two children.
