Dr. Amir Rahmani has a Ph.D. from University of Washington in Aeronautics & Astronautics and was an assistant professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Miami prior to joining NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He has over a decade research experience in distributed space systems, formation flying, networked dynamical systems, as well as swarm robotics. Amir is the group lead at the Multi-Agent Autonomy group, managing a number of projects on autonomy technologies for spacecraft and planetary robot swarms. He is the NASA STTR subtopic manager on coordination and control of swarm of space vehicles.
