Tom’s distinguished career started with investment banking at Morgan Stanley, but is largely centered around The Walt Disney Company. There, he helped drive record profit and attendance as Chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts and served as Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer before rising to executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer in 1998. As CFO, Tom was instrumental in purchasing Pixar for $7.4 billion in 2006 as well as acquiring Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion in 2009. Tom ultimately went on to become Chief Operating Officer in 2015, overseeing business directly with CEO Bob Iger. He is now currently a board member of Spotify.
