Zachary Tarica

Zach is the founder and CEO of The Forest Road Company, a lender against tax credits in the independent film space. Through Forest Road, Zach works to put cost-effective capital in the hands of responsible filmmakers, and empower them with the resources they need to bring their best work to life while keeping as much value on screen as possible. As the head of a specialty finance and tax services company, Zach provides economical and seamless solutions through soft-money financing, and aims to enrich the filmmaking process along the way. He manages the company's loan book, builds the project pipeline, and invests in various ancillary services and tax credits/rebates. Prior to founding Forest Road, Zach was an Energy Sector Head in the Private Equity Group at Brookfield Asset Management, and spent the last 8 years analyzing public and private market distressed credit securities.
