Shelby Aranyi is an Austin-based service designer and artist. Since joining IBM in 2014, she has enabled internal teams to champion, evangelize, and adopt human centered design practices in IBM’s strategy, offerings, client engagements, and delivery workflows. Currently she designs services and behavioral change for global organizations and their employees including: recruiting, onboarding, skills training, early career development and progression. Using human-centered design, she champions inclusivity of non-traditional paths and diversity in future workplaces, to maximize employees' satisfaction with their jobs and a company's business outcomes. Previously she co-lead artMEAT from 2015 to 2018, a multi-disciplinary non-profit arts group fiscally sponsored by Austin Creative Alliance. She also was a key leader on IBM Watson Education’s strategic partnerships, exploring how new technology can help teachers deliver personalized learning experiences to students in the classroom.
