Susan Engelking
Susan founded the Institute for Community MicroMobility and authored Tiny Transit for Cities: Cut Carbon Emissions In Your City Before It's Too Late. (etc.). She is at the forefront of a grassroots movement to introduce to cities a low cost, protected infrastructure for low emission, low speed modes including Neighborhood Electric Vehicles and scooters. She developed this proven mobility alternative in collaboration with civil engineer Katie Kam PhD, P.E. Susan has a BS in education and a Masters in Public Affairs from the LBJ School, both from at UT Austin. Susan was named Austin Communicator of the Year by Women in Communications. Susan's forthcoming book is titled Tiny Transit 2: Make the Economic Case For Your City.
