Meghan E. Butler
Meghan E. Butler is a writer and a communications strategist. She is on a mission to create a more emotionally intelligent world.
Her "Emotional Intelligence @ Work" editorial platform and EQ development coaching service designed for emerging leaders, established leaders, and the people who coach them. She contributes to Thrive Global and Fast Company, and was a columnist at Inc. Magazine. She has spoken on emotional intelligence at UT-Austin, for the Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network summit in Singapore, and for Austin Independent School District, among others.
Her journalistic curiosity, combined with close to 20 years of communications consulting, corporate PR, and agency experience, guide her clients to identify and answer the right questions, not the most obvious ones. Meghan uses her time with world-class organizations to help clients dig deep to find the truth and use it to meet their business objectives.
She is a co-founder of Curry+Butler: Writing to Influence, strategic writing collaborative and speaker coaching service; and a co-founder and partner at Frame+Function, a strategic communications and branding consultancy.
Her award-winning PR, branding and writing work has supported Seventh Generation, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, Dell, RadioShack, and Nike, to name a few. Her recent PR and writing work with “Brand Under Fire” earned coverage in the Wall Street Journal, NPR and The Atlantic.
She is certified by MHS Systems to administer and coach to the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360 psychometric assessments. And she has been trained by the TED organization in speaker coaching.
In 2019, Meghan was recognized by Austin Under 40, and was named a finalist for Austin Business Journal's "Profiles in Power," for her contributions to communications, journalism and leadership development.
