David West

David is an entrepreneur and technologist with a background in computational biology. In 2014, he founded Proscia, a software company leveraging AI to change the way the world practices pathology to transform cancer diagnosis and accelerate breakthroughs, inspired by research at Johns Hopkins University. Under David’s leadership, Proscia has earned recognition as a market category leader in digital pathology, raising a total of $12.3M in funding to date. David has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 as well as Inc. Magazine as one of the top 50 Global Entrepreneurs Under 25. He has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
