Melynda Barnes

Dr. Melynda Barnes is the Clinical Director for Rory, an end-to-end service for women’s health. Dr. Barnes is board-certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology. Her interest in women’s health began when she noticed mid-life aged women were experiencing similar health issues that were not properly treated. She saw Rory as a way to improve our existing system by offering more women access to affordable and quality healthcare for these issues. Dr. Barnes earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Biological Sciences and Spanish Literature. She continued her education at Mount Sinai where she received her medical degree. She returned to Stanford for her Otolaryngology residency and then to Portland to complete her Reconstructive Surgery fellowship. In addition, Dr. Barnes was an Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine and a member of the Board of Directors of Yale Medical Group.
