Prentiss Taylor

Dr. Prentiss Taylor is the VP of Medical Affairs at Doctor on Demand, an online service that provides access to board-certified doctors via video chat. Since May of 2018, Dr. Prentiss has overseen and implemented health and business-related strategies for the company. Prior to joining Doctor on Demand, Dr. Taylor served as Medical Director for Advocate Health Care, a faith-based not-for-profit integrated health system in Illinois and one of the largest home health care companies in the region. During his time there, he worked to improve the health, productivity, and well-being for Advocate Health Care’s workforces. Dr. Taylor has served as the Illinois Market Medical Director at United Healthcare, Medical Director at Amerigroup Corporation, and Medical Director of Care Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. Dr. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Harvard University, a MBA from Northwestern University, and a M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
