Nathaniel Robinson
Nate Robinson has worked in engineering, health, social equity, and education. Degreed in engineering, economics and finance, he has been fortunate to work in the USA, Mexico, China, Portugal, Peru, and Saudi Arabia. Prior to the Center for Space Exploration at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), he worked on Space Shuttle propulsion systems and exo-atmospheric vehicles at NASA. He founded K-12 nonprofits for education and career development for underserved communities, as well as being Director of Operations in Mechanical Engineering at UTEP. After being Division Manager in Saudi Arabia at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Nate returned to UTEP as Assistant Vice President working on research, economic and community development. Nate’s perseverance and good fortune resulted in the 2018 US Spain Council Young Leader, 2016 Eisenhower Fellow and 2008 NASA Tech Fellow. He seeks innovation to address economic and social disparities, and a good cup of tea.
