Aaron Tate

Aaron Tate received his MA in Arts, Technology and Emerging Communications from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is the Creative Director of the Emerging Tech Lab at The University of Texas at Dallas' Center for Brainhealth. In this role as Creative Director, he leads the center’s development team on several innovative projects, the most notable of which is Charisma. Charisma is an online virtual environment that facilitates social cognition-training for children and adolescents facing challenges because of social/emotional deficits. In 2019 Aaron co-founded VR for Good-DFW which is a meetup group for people interested in using VR for social good. Current research interests involve VR, social immersion, biofeedback, and data visualization.
