Richard Thornton

Hailing from Austin, where he studied at The University of Texas, Richard Thornton is a public lands advocate and community activist with over ten years of experience in the outdoor industry. He supports Patagonia’s environmental grants and activism in the Pacific Northwest and resides in Ballard, Washington. An active volunteer, Richard has worked with Grand Staircase Escalante Partners in Utah, Conservacion Patagonica in southern Chile and most recently with 1% for the Planet. He focuses on root causes and is in business to save our home planet.
