Thalia Seggelink

Seggelink is mother to 14 year old twins, Lance and Trinity. Lance’s struggles with autism led her to partner with other autism moms in Texas to create MAMMA -- Mothers Advocating Medical Marijuana for Autism. Founded in 2014, it is MAMMA's mission to have autism included as a qualifying condition in medical cannabis programs around the country. When MAMMA was founded in 2014, not a single state in the union listed autism as a qualifying condition. As of July 2019, MAMMA USA has been successful in helping 14 states pass legislation to include autism, which now includes Texas. She was awarded the Advocate of the Year by the Texas Parent To Parent Advocacy Network. Thalia is co-author of “Thinking Moms Revolution” published in 2012. She holds an MFA from Louisiana State University.
