Kathryn Waldron

Kathryn Waldron is a Fellow with the National Security and Cybersecurity team at R Street Institute, a non-partisan Washington D.C. based think tank that advocates for promote free markets and limited, effective government. There she works on a variety of issues, including space defense, cybersecurity and supply chain threats. She is regularly published in a variety of national outlets, including The National Interest, The Hill, Inside Sources and NBC Think. Before R Street, Kathryn was previously a graduate research fellow at the Mercatus Center, where she worked with their regulation policy team. She has also worked as a research assistant for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kosovo. Kathryn received her bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from Wheaton College and her master’s in economics from George Mason University.
