Dai Truong

Dai's experience spans across investment banking, startups, venture capital, M&A and strategy. He currently leads Investments and M&A for Left Coast Ventures, a VC/PE firm Company, focused on Cannabis.

Prior to joining Left Coast Ventures, he held a similar role at MedMen, a CA-based Cannabis Company, founded Upside Talent, a recruitment platform that matches companies and executive recruiters. Other experience includes leading technology and non-beer investments and acquisitions for Anheuser-Busch InBev's disruptive growth arm, ZX Ventures; Business Development for Help.com; Internet / Software investments at Austin Ventures; Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Thomas Weisel Partners. Dai earned his BA in Economics and Southeast Asian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
