Lucas Wilson

Luke Wilson is Chief Data Scientist of the HPC & AI Innovation lab at Dell Technologies. Over the last two years Luke has built the HPC & AI Innovation Lab into a hub of R&D activities in artificial intelligence and deep learning. Luke’s team develops state-of-the-art AI models, researches new techniques for reducing time-to-value of AI projects for customers and partners, and publishes peer-reviewed research on those efforts in international conferences and journals. Luke spent the prior twelve years at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) developing next-generation artificial intelligence-based tools and techniques for performing parallel computations on some of the most powerful supercomputers in the world. Luke earned his doctorate in computer science from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015 and has more than fifteen years of experience in high performance computing and artificial intelligence research and development.
