Layla Hancock-Piper

Layla is a senior publicist at Cinetic Marketing and PR working across festival, release and awards campaigns for a range of narrative and documentary features. Some of her recent campaigns include Academy Award nominated features HONEYLAND and HALE COUNTY THIS MORNING, THIS EVENING, and Academy Award nominated short films IN THE ABSENCE and A NIGHT AT THE GARDEN. Other recent campaigns include David Michod’s Netflix epic THE KING, NYFF departing head Kent Jones’ acclaimed DIANE, Japanese Legend Takashi Miike’s FIRST LOVE, and Academy Award Winner Asif Kapadia’s DIEGO MARADONA, as well as the Oscar shortlisted APOLLO 11. Most recently at Sundance Layla represented prize winners TIME and BOYS STATE, as well as the acclaimed THE TRUFFLE HUNTERS and THE NOWHERE INN starring Carrie Brownstein and St. Vincent.
