Severine Tibi
Séverine Tibi is a producer from Cannes who worked in Sponsorship at the British Film Institute before co-founding Sevana Films in 2017. She has produced films on various continents, the first one being a feature documentary shot in Tahiti and sold to France Télévisions. Her short films are screening in film festivals and streaming platforms around the world, and she is now at different stages on many projects. These include Lara Zeidan’s fiction feature, BIRTHDAY, which has won the CNC’s Development Award at Crossroads, the Rotterdam Lab Award at Beirut Cinema Platform and was just selected to the first Red Sea Souk. Séverine attends festivals as a consultant, through talent development programs and to meet compelling storytellers. Most recently, she was a Film Mentor at SXSW, a Zurich Film Festival Academy participant, and won the John Brabourne Award. She will be moving to the US in 2022 on an O1-A visa to work for an investment and production company with the same values and goals.
