Akiea Gross

Akiea is a former Instructional Coach, Kindergarten Teacher and creative entrepreneur who believes in designing a more inclusive, equity and empathy-driven world through education, music and the arts. Akiea is the co-founder of Womxyn Amplify, LLC and creator and producer of the inclusive, intimate concert series Sisters Unsigned, which amplifies the voices of independent womxn, non binary and QTPOC artists and creatives of all genres. Sisters Unsigned is considered one of Airbnb's Top 50 experiences. Currently, they moonlight as management, songwriter and creative for R&B/Soul artist Sonic, a former Top 20 contestant on The Voice. Akiea, Sonic and their team Womxyn Amplify, independently release Sonic's debut LP in January 2019. They are slated to begin an artist residency with National Sawdust this fall.
