The Passion Economy
The U.S. and global economies have been ripped apart by global trade, computer technology, and automation. Those very forces do not only destroy, they can create new opportunities to live a more passionate, profitable, and satisfying life. New Yorker writer Adam Davidson, founder of NPR’s Planet Money, talks with two of the heroes of his new book, The Passion Economy, published by Knopf, and his podcast on Luminary. He’ll be joined by Jason Blumer, a radical, brilliant accountant and Meghan Phillips, a creative advertising and marketing agency owner who teaches clients how to convey their passion to customers. Three humble, hilarious, and honest individuals get real on money and what the future could look like when passion and profitability merge.
