Make It Personal: 7 Steps to Impact Climate Change
We are at a critical point in the global effort to address climate change. Alarming headlines, lack of leadership, and the sheer scope of the problem have led most Americans to a dangerous place: apathy. However, emerging research indicates that a small, committed group of Americans can create systemic change. In this session, participants will learn how seven actions taken by Americans could significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and if adoption increases to 10%, the United States would get back on track to meet our Paris Agreement targets. In the coming year, the campaign to inspire these behaviors will extend to campuses, corporations, and cities across the country. The research is clear: Want to stop climate change? Make it personal.
