The Future of Oral Health
Oral health is critical to our overall health and makes a significant impact on physical and social wellbeing. Poor oral health is linked with serious health and social issues including heart disease and diabetes, lost work productivity and poor performance in school. Yet, millions of Americans don’t have dental insurance and lack adequate access to oral health care. The system is fundamentally broken, and it’s time for a revolution. This session will focus on the future of oral health, highlighting opportunities for innovation in data science, the role of consumers as designers of their own health, oral health integration with primary care, and the role of technology in revolutionizing the realm of what’s possible.
