Using Cognitive Science to Manage Your Career
Most of what determines career success is not learned in school. Much of it involves understanding how you think and how the people around you think. While much of this could be learned in school, most people don't get much education in cognitive science. In this session, I explore key findings from psychology and neuroscience that can help people to be more fulfilled at work, to improve their productivity, to communicate more effectively, and to develop leadership skills. I illustrate these principles with people's stories to help link research to practice.
