If It Can, It Will Be Connected: NSA, IoT, & You

As billions of devices become connected, with relatively little built-in security, the potential for compromise abounds as adversaries become more adept in the use of cyber tools. The Internet of Things (IoT) is growing larger and more complex every day, and it’s just one of the emerging technologies that the National Security Agency (NSA) is assessing. And this risk isn’t confined to unsecured devices: IoT products often come with sensors that generate new types of data about individuals and their environment which can be collected and exploited. These devices represent a growing attack surface where vulnerabilities abound. Come hear from an NSA expert about IoT and how NSA is adapting to the future of cybersecurity.
