Let’s talk about the athlete mindset and how to channel it to win in sports and life.
Athletes have mental superpowers that they don't even understand. Sayings like "no pain, no gain," is actually a mentality that can be extremely effective in life. What happens more than just the belief in the saying, is that athletes are able to see beyond what they feel. This is an important piece to life, because often times we will have to face difficult circumstances, but yet need to press forward to a designated goal even in the midst of serious pain. One issue that arises is that athletes tend to only link this mentality with physical pain. The true test in life is the emotional and mental pain that everyone inevitably deals with. That same determination and focus that an athlete has with physical pain can also be transmuted into dealing with emotional and mental pain, if taught correctly.
