Similar to a human child, the first Artificial General Intelligences are likely to absorb many of the behavioral, moral and cognitive patterns of the humans who create and teach them. If humanity is going to flourish as the coming Singularity unfolds, we will likely need to evolve not only our tech but also our level of compassion.
The more compassionate a society we can create, the more probable we can launch AGIs that foster superabundance. Fortunately advanced tech such as AI and Blockchain, have the capability to help us uplift ourselves personally and collectively.
All we need to do is direct global AI development away from selling, killing, spying and gambling, toward beneficial applications like medicine, longevity, education, scientific discovery, mental health and sustainability.
