Pushing Your Game’s Creativity With Systems Thinking

Date TBA

Speakers

The process of making games is, at its core, a process of designing systems defined by a clear intent. Yet, the artist is often trained to be unconstrained by clarity of communicating this intent, and artistic intent therefore is left to interpretation by the audience. In order to rapidly innovate and own the intent of a game’s design, one must adapt a strategic, systems orientation. Let’s cover a couple of ways you can move towards this mindset and enhance your creative output.
