Augmented reality today is an open pasture of new opportunities for the imagination and the imaginative. It enables us to re-interpret our surroundings and gain a new perpective of what is meaningful or fun, and let’s us experience moments of wonder in our everyday lives.
World-bending AR apps and innovative face filters are designed to capture these moments of wonder, and in this session, we will discuss what it means to be inspirational through visual interactivity/augmentation, learn how to utilize wonder in our creative work, and discuss how to capitalize on wonder by enabling others to create it, which in turn leads to successful, viral launches.
The session outline my experience with creating wonder through launching DoodleLens (1M+ views at launch, top #10 Photo & Video) and Blue Sky Paint (top #100 Social), both apps built on a single, simple jaw-dropping wow moment.
