Featured Session: Leadership in Turbulent Times

The media industry is living through an unprecedented period of disruption. Rules of the road that created decades of prosperity and security are shifting by the day. Rapid technological innovation is creating challenges for legacy businesses, but also great opportunities for leaders willing to embrace transformation. Retired Navy Four-Star admiral William H. McRaven is one of those leaders. McRaven oversaw the US Special Operations raid that led to the death of Osama Bin Laden in his role as commander of the US Special Forces. Throughout his career as a Navy Seal, commander and later as Chancellor of the University of Texas, McRaven established himself as a fearless and inspiring leader. His philosophy on leadership was captured in The New York Times bestseller “Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life and Maybe the World.”
