The European Union's new Green Deal and ambition (alongside with the new Danish Climate Act and the work between the C40 cities) about becoming the world’s first climate- neutral region by 2050 will be on the agenda for this panel-session. The European Green Deal sets a path for a transition that is just and socially fair. It is designed in such a way as to leave no individual or region behind in the great transformation ahead. Involvement and commitment of the public and of all stakeholders is crucial to its success.
