Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds enormous potential to improve the lives of nearly every American. Technological advances are transforming every sector of our economy. Americans are beginning to realize a myriad of benefits including more accurate medical diagnosis and treatment, improved government services and automation of dangerous or undesirable work to improve productivity. At the same time, AI poses potential risks ranging from concerns about algorithmic bias to violation of personal privacy.
