When allegations of sexism rocked Riot Games, the company decided to proactively transform the culture. To lead the effort, Riot recruited Dropbox and T. Rowe Price veteran Angela Roseboro as its first ever Chief Diversity Officer. She and her Diversity and Inclusion team have since embarked upon a journey of evolving the company’s culture as well as regaining the trust of both Rioters and players. At her SXSW session, Angela will share lessons learned along with some of the strategies and tangible actions that Riot has taken to ensure Rioters are protected and supported in the workplace. She will also discuss how innovative D&I initiatives have helped drive product creation, while continuing to foster an industry-leading player-first focus.
