Featured Session: How To Be an Artist; or at Least Live Life More Creatively
Creativity is an evolutionary survival skill. We are all creative. Art has been with us since the beginning; as far as we know it's never not been with us. With decades of immersion in art and art-making and a lifetime spent being around artists - famous and not so - Pulitzer Prize winning Senior Art Critic for New York Magazine, Jerry Saltz (who has no degrees, is self-taught and was a long distance truck driver into his 40s) will talk about how rank amateurs and everyday art-lovers can engage life more creatively, while passing on tricks for looking at art and negotiating today's massive art world.
