Is a College Degree Needed in Today’s Job Market?
Many people share the widely popular view that a college degree leads to career advancement not otherwise attainable without a degree. As the global labor market continues to grow, there is an increasing number of high-paying jobs that don’t often require college degrees. In 2018, several of the world’s most recognizable companies such as Google, Apple, and Hilton have virtually eliminated the requirement for their applicants to have college to further expand their talent pool options. Thus begging the question, how do you choose the right education path in a world where more companies are changing their outlook on degrees?
