Cancer Treatments for All: A Health Equity Panel

Despite an overall decline in U.S. cancer deaths since 1991, not all patients have benefited equally from advances in prevention, early detection, precision medicine and targeted cancer treatments. Ensuring that all cancer patients have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials is imperative to the advancement of cancer care, because clinical trials are the most important and reliable means available to provide scientific evidence for developing better therapies for cancer patients.

Join Stand Up To Cancer CEO Sung Poblete, PhD, RN and SU2C Heath Equity Committee chair Edith A. Perez, MD for a conversation about the importance and complexities of health equity, and how we can bridge the gap to develop new cancer treatments we know will be effective for all.
